Traditional cake
Here are the type of cake in Cambodia. It is always appear the most during phjum ben ceremony. It was called Num Nnsom. People make for offer to each other and bring to the pagoda and offer the monk. It is made from the sticky rice. there are many type of Num Ansom which made with different kind of ingrediants. 1. The one that make from pork, we called pork cake. This one is not possible to eat with who are vegetarian and vegan. People use the banana leave to cover it and before they use the string from the grass to type, but now they prefer to use plastic string to type. Inside they put the green bean which mill the skin away that look a bit yellow. The first layer they put the sticky rice and then green bean and the last one pork from oil or meat. The pork, they mix it with the pepper and a little bit salt.
