Ship mountain

It is very common one that all the name of the place in Cambodia are all getting from the folks story. All that story are very similar to the real place. As this mountain I am going to tell you about its story.

            The word Sampov is mean ship or the big boat, but Sompov is no machine it look like the sailing boat that run by the air push. Through the folks story Sompov Mountain used to be the real Ship in the previous time. Now let’s go to the folk story.

Once upon of time there were two men who were very cloth friend. They both studied together with the hermit in the cave in the jungle. After a while they were finished their class and came back to their own home land. Before they separated, they had promised each other that I they had a child one girl and one boy they would like them to marry each other since they were born. Then their promising came true, they had the child that were different sex and they then marry them. The two kids were lived with their parents the period of time until they become adult and about 18 years old their parents sent them to live together away from their parents’ house. New young couple live together with happiness. One day the woman went into the forest to find something to cook, suddenly she saw a very strange big egg by the way she walk. She picked that egg to home and keep that egg in the safe place. The getting bigger and bigger from day to day and one day it was hatch out as a small crocodile. That crocodile was called Athon and it was not the normal crocodile it was the magic crocodile and could talk with human. Athon treat the woman as a mother and the man as a father, so their young couple did not have the child and they first have the crocodile baby. Athon was feed by the woman and it turn to be bigger and bigger. For the man time is up for him to leave from home to study as his father before. During his study with the hermit, the hermit was always tell that you must not go the back of the cave, there is a dangerous thing over there. He was always follow the hermit. One day the hermit was not at the hermitage and the man got really wondering and decided to go and when inside there was no any dangerous thing at all.
